Q) What is the difference between the standard Mr. Gasket intake gaskets and the Ultra-Seal gaskets? Q) I'm having a problem with short life on exhaust gaskets between head and headers. I see you now offer CopperSEAL gaskets for my engine. Will the CopperSEAL gaskets solve my problems? Q) I want to buy a Mr. Gasket Street Scoop from a friend of mine, but some of the parts are missing. Can I buy any of the parts separately? A) Yes, the small parts are listed on pgs. 2-3 of the Mr. Gasket catalog. Your dealer can order any of these parts you may need.

Q) I have a pickup truck I use for work. The column shift is worn out and can't be replaced. Do you make a floor shifter to fit my truck? A) The Mr. Gasket shifter line would be an ideal replacement for your worn-out column shift. These shifters are designed to fit a variety of applications. We make a tall stick shifter designed for pickup truck applications. These shifters will relocate the shifter to the floor.

Q) Do your hood pins come in pairs or individual? A) All pin kits come in pairs. Individual parts are available seperately such as scuff plates, clips, pins and cables. See catalog for application and part number.

Q) Does Mr. Gasket carry the 1.22” valve cover breather? or Grommets? A) We do they are multi purpose, they are part number 6375. They are sold as a valve cover plug and to use it as a grommet you simply cut the bottom off.

Q) I purchased your chrome center bolt valve covers, part no 9819 and 9847 and cannot find gaskets to fit. What's the problem? A) They are valve cover caps. Place them over your existing valve cover for quick and easy installation.

Q) I purchased a chrome dipstick #9898 for my Pontiac V8, but I cannot figure out how to install it. Can you help? A) Typically on a Chevy application the dipstick can be removed from the top of the engine and replaced. For the Pontiac, dipstick installs from underneath the engine with the oil pan off.

Q) I see you carry wheel dust shields, do you have them for my 17” and bigger wheels? A) No, at this time we have ones for 14"-16" wheels

Q) Mr. Gasket has a large variety of chrome alternator, crank and water pump pullies, but do you make a power steering pulley. A) At this time we don't offer a power steering pump pulley.

Q) I purchased the 667A shifter for my truck, and it doesen’t seem to fit very well. A) These shifters are very universal and may require some amount of fabrication to work properly. They are not custom fit.
